Anybody get. reference code 9001?

I received several documents from the IRS where I requested transcripts and got blank letters stating there is no information for the 2018 tax year. But the dates on these letters is only 2-3 days aftered they printed. I thought that was pretty fast to receive anything from the IRS. But this is getting ridiculous

 Well I decide to call the IRS today with my letter of verification I had printed up all my tax returns from 2017 and 2018. The gentleman from the IRS asked me several questions about each of my returns as well as my W-2 and needless to say he said I attempted to verify online but I did not complete it so anybody verified online you might want to call because I thought I did everything because it told me I did everything.  So that was a waste of time when I verified online now he said it could take up to nine weeks but that’s just a placeholder and he gave me the regular number to check where is my refund and that’s all I need to do unless I get some other kind a letter in the mail or call back if I haven’t received that nine weeks. Just thought that might help someone else

Any updates yet ? I still haven’t received no letter over 14days . Called today and my addresses was wrong and they told me it would be another 14 days they playing games

Is the control number they give to you a special number or is it off your taxes

Ok so if you verified and try calling the 800 number ext 362 and you try to get a update they will just say it takes up to 9 weeks and wont say anything else so that's a waste of time..just called them.and that's all they say

Use ext 462 they are more helpful and give out more information. You should try to see what your transcript say as well if you haven’t it should be an update on them @mjohnston8816

I received my letter today but it’s not the 5071c letter it’s 4883c do anyone knows what they verify? I called at 6:15 it took 50 mins for them to answer so it was over 7:00 when they answer I had this rude lady I don’t think she wanted to help me she didn’t ask for my control number or anything . I just told her I would call tomorrow at a better time She said my agi from last year when I was looking right at it .
