How to put the turbotax app on my imac 2023 with MAC OS Sonoma 14.2.1?

I downloaded and installed the program but I don't want to do my taxes online on Turbotax website.  I want the app on my desktop so I can do my taxes.

You said you downloaded and installed the program?  No you shouldn't be in the Online version.  Can't you launch the program?  Did you enter the 16 digit License Code and activate it?  You do have to sign in to an account but that is only to store your license code.
