MacOS Install stuck on MacBook Pro M1 Chip

I purchased the desktop version of turbotax ( Home & Biz ) and after downloading and starting install it never launches, theres and icon but no screen, no launch
Machine: 13" M1 2020
8G
Sonoma 14.4

I called support and that was pretty much useless ( I knew it wouldn't work when the guy started with clearing browser session cookies ! )
Simple question , are there known install problems w/ MacOS + M1 ?

No, there are not.  The most common reasons when someone is having an install problem with the MAC is that they downloaded the .exe file instead of the .dmg file.  The .exe will not work on a MAC.

Others who have had issues have either not used the slider to slide the app to the app folder.  As you walk through the install, there is an arrow that points to another folder for you to slide. It sometimes gets buried.  This seems to be the most common issue. 

Another thing that has helped with install is to just restart the computer.
