How to enter Timber Sale Income

I use TurboTax for Home and Business. I am trying to enter the info for a Timber sale. I received a 1099-S. I found this in the discussions: https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/entering-importing/help/where-do-i-enter-income-from-a-timber-sale...

However, I am not able to find the "Investments Sold" screen that is referenced. I don't have any problems entering security sales, however the screens for security sales don't fit fit for this.

Can someone give me explicit directions? Thanks

The post you are looking at is correct, but the screens have changed a little (see below).

Report the sale of timber in exactly the same place and manner as the sale of Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds and Other (timber is an "other").

• For "What type of investment did you sell? ", enter "Other".
• For "Description" enter "Timber",
• For "When did you receive this investment?", use the date you acquired the timber property.
• For cost basis, see Determining Timber Cost Basis | MU Extension or use another method that you can justify.
