How to enter sales tax into TurboTax on new car purchase in 2018

I bought a new car in California in 2018 and paid over $2500 in sales tax. Turbo tax did not give me an opportunity to enter that info.

How can I get TT to allow me to enter it into the itemized deductions section?

please read this link

do you have enough deductions to itemize? if no, then it won't matter. And if yes, remember that the SALT limit is $10,000 so it may still not matter
