Once a tax return has been filed using the TurboTax online editions, the tax return cannot be cleared.
If you made a mistake or need to make any changes, you can amend your return.
If I understand correctly, you can go back into your turbotax and make any changes you want. THEN, you should SAVE AS a different file name. By doing so, you'll have 2 copies of turbotax (1) the original copy (2) the changed copy
I use the desktop version of turbotax, so my above comment applies to that version only.
What do you mean you have not closed it out? Why do you want to clear it? If you filed was it Accepted yet?
Do you want to do another return? Online is only good for 1 return per account. But you can use the same email address for 5 accounts. How to start another return in the Online version

That is only possible when using the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions, not the TurboTax online editions.

That's only for the Desktop installed program. Are you using Online or Desktop? And you save it first with another name so you work in the copy.
