For two people, there are three, YES THREE!!! different "forms" containing that information, ONLY ONE OF WHICH IS EDITABLE BUT NOBODY EVER POINTS THAT OUT!!!
You have to COMPLETELY IGNORE the first one (that one I will call the roll-up form) because there is ZERO CAPABILITY to edit the work phone number in that form.
Instead (and again, THIS IS NOT DOCUMENTED ANYWHERE!!!), you have to go past the "roll-up" form and go to YOUR INDIVIDUAL FORM, where you can FINALLY edit the information for your correct work phone.
Once again, when it comes to TurboTax so-called "help", THE DEVIL IS IN THE UNDOCUMENTED DETAILS!!!
Most users do not try to change it in the forms mode that is not supported for data entry, but just use the personal information interview mode.
In my version of TurboTax, THERE IS ZERO OPPORTUNITY to change "daytime telephone number" in interview mode. I tried every single EDIT button in "interview" mode with no success.
Only after stumbling around in "forms" mode, did I discover that, for each person in a joint filing status situation, there are three (yes THREE!!!) different "forms" that hold their personal information. Only when I realized the first one listed is a "rollup form" (my terminology), did I try editing (again, in "forms" mode, because that is the only way to do it in TurboTax Premier for Windows) the individual form where, FINALLY, I found a way to edit/correct the daytime telephone number for the individual that needed that change made.

Windows 10 Build 19042 using 2020 TurboTax Premier desktop version 020.000.1654 have no problem editing or replacing phone number in the Personal Info section for Mailing Address & Phone Number.
You don't get that screen I posted?
The screen you posted is not available for me using TurboTax Premier for Windows.
I wish it would appear, but sadly, it does not.
I know that there is, just in a different place. It should be a tab "You and Your Family".
I know there is a "Search Topics" box, enter "mailing address" in that box and it should take you there.
You have hosed up the cell phone number to text the verification code. I made the correction but I keep getting this message.
I made the change, but I don't know why you had it so screwed up. The area code was wrong, the number was wrong. My profile already had the correct number but you used the wrong area code and wrong number.
I cant log in to my account because it has the wrong phone number
Try using your email with the recovery link or click "Try something else" (towards the bottom in blue)
my new phone number is [phone number removed]
If your phone number was removed you can leave it blank. Otherwise you can use these steps to update a corrected number.
You should see Tax Home on the left side of your screen. This is the area that your looking for. If you don't see it click on the 3 white lines.
To update your TurboTax Advantage account, see these instructions.
I'm glad that whatever magic incantation you were able to perform in "interview mode" worked for you, but, sadly, that is not available to me, despite clicking on every possible Edit button in "interview mode".
Now that I have stumbled into the undocumented "forms mode method" of updating the incorrect work telephone number and successfully eFiled and have received confirmation that everything was processed by the IRS, I'm going to wait until next year to see if TurboTax has fixed this nasty, undocumented bug; but, I will be prepared to use "forms mode" to again override the erroneous information if necessary.
I do not have any option to change my phone number in https://accounts.intuit.com, it can only verify it. Where can I change it ?
