Cancel it? Did you already e-file? If you already e-filed it cannot be cancelled or stopped. You just have to wait and see if it is accepted or rejected. If you have not filed it yet then you can just abandon the account and not file the return at all.

When you submit your e-filed return, TaxAct immediately begins transmitting the return to the IRS and/or your state tax agency. So, once you submit a return electronically, there is no way to stop or cancel that transmission. If you made a mistake or forgot to include something: you can always file an amended return to correct it.
