1099 variants are required to be filed with the IRS by January 31st.

There are over a dozen kinds of 1099's. If you worked as an independent contractor you should receive 1099NEC's by the end of January. Financial institutions, etc., that issue other kinds of 1099's send them by late January to mid-February. Wait until you have ALL of your tax documents before you file.
