How long does it take the State of New Mexico to accept the efile?

There is no set time for when they will accept it. Some states start processing e-filed returns at the same time as the IRS, while others don't start processing until sometime later. The IRS and your state operate independently of each other and the time frame in which each is accepted and processed can vary.
