what does it cost you to toss the consolidated 1099-B and all the other tax documents into your folder for that tax year with your paper copy of your tax return?
UNLESS
do you have a 200 page consolidated 1099-B from day trading?

Some contractors can also have a large pile of tax forms which can pile up over the years. If someone is moving a long distance this can actually be costly so having accurate information is important. Same if someone is moving into assisted living or downsizing for some other reason.
