You should find out if an efiled return was accepted or rejected by the IRS in about 24-48 hours. You should received two emails. The first one says your return was transmitted. The second one says whether it was accepted or rejected. 

After it is accepted, you should be able to start tracking the status of a return with a refund on the IRS tracking web site: 

https://www.irs.gov/refunds
