How do you get a copy of your 2024 tax forms? The programs says it will take 2-3 minutes to organize then it goes dark?

I'm finished with my 2024 IRS tax forms and trying to get Turbotax to print a copy so I have the record and I can review it before filing.  I also need my state form to file.  It just says give us 2-3 minutes to organize and goes blank.  No printing.

This was a problem but was corrected in a recent update.

You may need to do a manual update. 

What is a manual update?

You can try these steps to resolve if you are using the online version:

• Clearing your Cache and Cookies
• Using a different browser
• Opening an Incognito Window

Try saving/"printing" the return as a PDF. Then see if you can print the PDF.

When i click “print or save my return” it says it will take 2-3 minutes to prepare it for printing but then the message disappeared and nothing happens

Are you using a Mac? There is a known issue with creating PDF documents. Please see the link below.

Im using Mac. But im not trying to save it by going to the FILE Menu in the top left side of the Mac Screen. 
Im done filing my tax returns and in the file a return step and the button “ print tax return” for filing by mail doesn’t work. I tried to e-file and still doesn’t let me save my file. I want to see it before i file but Everytime I click  the button to print/save It will say that “it will take 2-3 minutes to prepare it for printing. Thank you for your patience”  and my Tubotax is up to date

There has been progress made on resolving this issue.  However, the expected release date is not for another 2 weeks.

In searching on line regarding printing issues using a MAC, this has been going on for multiple years, and you're saying this will take another two weeks to correct. This issue should have been resolved before the release of the 2024 software. I paid good money to use your software and expect more from Turbotax. To me this is unacceptable.

On a Mac save your completed tax forms as a PDF file on your computer and then print it from your computer. You can e-file like normal for the federal. I don’t know about the state but the pdf will give you the forms to file by mail.  Good luck.
