When you update the phone number and/or email address in the "Sign In & Security", section does it not flow automatically to the Contact Info displayed in the Preferences section? Did you already try it, and are you saying you updated everything in "Sign In & Security", but nothing changed in the Contact Info shown in Prefefences? Like you, I don't see any way to make changes directly in that section.
I don't have a way to test changing it since my 2 contact items have already been verified, and I don't want to change them and have to verify them again.
However, there is another way to make changes to phone and email address, but I don't know what will happen; i.e., I don't know whether it will flow only to Sign In & Security alone or whether it will also update Preferences. It may or may not make any difference. But you can play around with it, if you wish.
- Log in to your Intuit Account.
- You may arrive at the Overview screen. If not in left column click Overview.
- Towards the right is a Quick Actions section. Choose "Show More" and keep clicking Show More until the list of actions shows everything you need. (I had to click it twice to make the list longer.)
Then you can choose to change the email, phone, etc. However, I don't know if that also changes the "Contact Info" that you see in Preferences.
