How do we report losses of crypto assets due to theft or fraud?

I lost some assets when my wallet was hacked and my assets stolen.

Sorry---theft losses are not deductible on your federal tax return unless they are the result of being a vicim of a Ponzi scheme.

Forgot to add passive loss carryover from K1. While amending, came across "Report Carryovers-Regular Tax" and saw 2 options (Box1 and Box2a). Which of the 2 should I use?
