How do I take away a credit that I do not want to take.

I do not want to purchase the Deluxe version because I do not have the money to pay for that.  If I don't take the credit then I do not need the Deluxe version.

It sounds like you are looking to also downgrade to a lower version of the product. In order to do so, you'll need to downgrade your product by following the instructions below:
