When you use online TurboTax software you get one return per fee.
Each return needs its own email, account and user ID. If you use the same account and user ID for a second return, the second one overwrites the first return and it is lost forever.

If you use TurboTax Desktop, you can e-file up to five federal tax returns.
If you use TurboTax Online, you will have to create login ID's for each tax return that you prepare.
Refer to the TurboTax Help articles: Can I file multiple returns with TurboTax?, How many returns can I e-file in the TurboTax Desktop software? and How do I start another return in TurboTax Online?
I had three tax returns to complete. I was able to do it by having two different login IDs with the same email, then, for the third return, I used one of the previous login IDs with a different email address.
I prefer to use the desktop version but my "old" desktop does not support Windows 11 and I didn't want to buy a new desktop just to do my taxes.
