To not claim the Earned Income Credit, follow this directions:

• At the screen Looks like the Earned Income Credit may put more money in your pocket, click Continue.
• Did you live in the US, answer Yes.
• At the screen Do any of these uncommon situations apply?, click on We got an IRS notice saying that we can't claim the Earned Income Credit.

You will not qualify for the credit.
