How do I read a .tax file?

I paid for Turbotax deluxe online in 2024. I did not buy the desktop version. How do I read my state tax info that is stored as a .tax file?

The 2024 tax data file, which has a file extension of .tax2024, can only be opened by the TurboTax 2024 software installed on a personal computer.

If you paid the TurboTax online account fees for the Deluxe online edition, then contact TurboTax support as they may be able to push a 2024 desktop installation file to your download account at no charge.
