You must pay your state tax due using the state’s preferred method of receiving payment. For most states that will be by making a payment to the state’s own tax website, or by mailing a check or money order.
If you are e-filing your state tax return, you will be prompted to select how you wish to file your return (print and mail or E-File).
To pay your state taxes, you can enter your bank information to have your state taxes withdrawn from your bank account with an electronic funds withdrawal, if your state allows this.
