How do I know if I filed my injured spouse form correctly?

I had already filed but was notified that all or part of my return would be deferred due to my spouses back support (we have only been married 3.5 months)! The directions on TurboTax said to add the form which I did but I’d like some sort of visual confirmation that it’s done!

You can sign back into TurboTax and look at your tax return copy. If you see the Form 8379, it has been submitted to the IRS. Unfortunately, the IRS will not be able to tell you until they process the return (when it is too late to prevent the offset).
