How do I get TT 2017 to download 1099's from Fidelity now?

I have had two emails from Fidelity telling me that my documents are ready for download.....but when I try to download from TT, I get a message from TT that documents won't be ready to download until 1/30/2018.....so it won't even try to download the documents.

Frustrating......is there some way to convince TT to actually do the download?

Correct....the Fidelity notice emailed out is for their PDF Forms downloads.

The Tax files that can be imported into tax software will require special formatting that is entirely different from the PDF files.  Those commonly take longer...one year it took several weeks longer.

30 January isn't bad ...but they might still change the date if they encounter problems with converting the files into the needed tax-import-format.
