If you are not required to file a tax return and you do not fall into a category of taxpayer that will automatically receive a stimulus payment, you should register your information using one of the non-filer applications. This will generate a zero-income return to process your stimulus payment.
Those that do not need to register using the non-filer application include someone who is receiving Social Security retirement, disability (SSDI), Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or survivor benefits; Veteran’s benefits; or Railroad Retirement benefits.
You can either use the IRS registration tool for non-filers at this link: IRS Economic Impact Payments
Or you can use the TurboTax registration tool for non-filers at this link, by clicking the orange Register Now button: Get Your 2020 Stimulus Check
Do not use both options, only one is sufficient.
Thank Yu for the amswer back about the stimulus check how long could it takes I noticed my mother and a friend both got theres on a Wednesday so I was hoping this week. But I didn't know if anyone knew if they deposit daily or not I just thought finally maybe there not giving it. Cus I'm just social security disability
You should definitely get your payment, but unfortunately there isn't a published schedule as to when. You can check up to once per day to see if the IRS has assigned you a payment date yet. Here is where to check: Get my Payment tool.
If you have not already done so, enter your payment information here: Non-filer registration tool.
Here's to hoping your payment reaches you soon!
