How do I file my w4 as HOH so I dont lose too much out of my checks?

my status as a qualified widower expires this year, I can claim head of household on my tax return but there is no filing status for head of household on a W4 and Claiming single with a dependent will deduct too much from my check to pay my monthly bills. I don't want to we at the end of the year, what is the best way to file on my W4?

You can increase the number of exemptions on a W-4 to have less taxes withheld from your wages.  The number of exemptions claimed on a W-4 is not relevant to the number of dependents claimed on a tax return.

See this IRS website for a withholding calculator - https://www.irs.gov/Individuals/IRS-Withholding-Calculator

Just be aware that you will owe taxes at the end of the year if you don't have enough withheld.
