If you had no taxable income in the last 4 years there is no reason for you to file a tax return.

If you're single, and earned more than $14,600 in 2024 you may have taxable income and will be required to file a tax return.

You should first ask about the procedure for the facility you are in. 

You should be allowed to file a tax return as a matter of federal law, but the procedure may well vary by facility.

TurboTax will provide software to prepare the return, but access to a computer, and the method of filling (E-File or Mail) may be in question.
