How do I file another extension before 10-16-17?

There are no second extensions.  You have to file the 2016 tax return with extension on or before October 16, 2107 to avoid any late filing/failure to file penalty.

You have until Monday 10/16 to efile the return ... after that you will not have access to the online return while the program files are archived and the program switched to 2017.
So make sure to save a PDF &/or .tax2016 files  of the returns now while you can.

Note - The online editions for tax year 2016 will shut down after October 16, 2017 to make way for the tax year 2017 editions,  A 2016 tax return completed after that date using TurboTax will have to be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.  

The TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions for 2016 would need to be used if completing a 2016 return after the online editions close for the 2016 tax season.  Go to this TurboTax website for the 2016 desktop CD/Download editions - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/
