I am preparing my 2021 tax return for my LLC. I received an SBA loan during 2021 and did not pay any interest yet. Where do I enter this information on the tax forms? Some web sites say that this information is not needed to be entered as it is not an income. But with this loan, my "end of year assets" shows much higher than what it normally should. Wouldn't IRS wonder why the assets increased that much if I don't report it?
Thanks,

The SBA EIDL loan is not taxable income but is a loan to be repaid.
You may need to report the loan as a liability on a balance sheet if you are preparing a form 1120-S or form 1065.
Thank you 🙂
