How do i efile state taxes? federal efiled and accepted never received efile confermation numer?

If you already filed your federal return with TurboTax, you can go back in and add a state return and e-file it if your federal has been accepted. Please see the TurboTax FAQ below for instructions.

When you e-file you should get back 2 emails.  The first email only confirms the transmission.  The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your e-file. If you did not receive these emails, you can go to our e-file status lookup tool to get your current status for your federal return for confirmation. 

Also. when you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc.
