How do I delete Form 2210?

Same!  This issue is not fixed and there is no way to get rid of Form 2210.  I hope TT is reading this forum so they can fix it.

How do I delete Form 2210?

I am also having the same issue. I am using TT Online and got rejected twice. I even tried deleting form 2210 after <christiaf> posted that it was fixed and just got back the rejection. Customer support is also frustrating as they do not understand they have an issue but rather try to make it your fault. You should fix this and not assume it is fixed

How do I delete Form 2210?

RR please read my earlier comment
If you're a TTO customer you need to log into your account TOMORROW for the update to resolve your issue with the 2210 form
TTD cudtomers can update today (your software) and if you don't need to update you need to wait a few hours for the fix to circulate properly through before trying again.
We appreciate everyone's patience in this matter. Thank you!

How do I delete Form 2210?

I have CD version of Delux Turbotax (PC) and followed what "myactuary" did.  It deleted the form 2210 and my e-filed return was accepted.  His/her suggestion was :
Select form 2210 / Right click box II.A /  select override / left click the check box and it removed the x from the box and form 2210.  After you save it you should be able to successfully e-file.  After several hours, I got the right confirmation message.  I want to thank all the comments made by so many people before me.

How do I delete Form 2210?

By deleting the 2017 income on 2210, no 2210 appeared and my filing was accepted!

How do I delete Form 2210?

Thanks myactuary, it worked for me too. I called a TurboTax Rep and they couldn't figure out what the hell was going on with it either.

How do I delete Form 2210?

Frank's method worked for TurboTax online (the fix that christiaf mentioned hadn't been implemented as of 6AM Central this morning, unfortunately). For those who don't want to scroll: Go to "Other Tax Situations" -> "Underpayment Penalty" and put a 0 when it asks about your 2017 liability. That gets rid of the 2210 form. I was then able to submit successfully.

As of 7:30am EST this still doesn't work, form 2210 cannot be deleted.  Christiaf, what time is this update supposed to roll out?

How do I delete Form 2210?

With TT Premier on Windows, I tried - again - to delete form 2210.  It didn't go away, but TT took me down a path toward error check and asked to download an update.  I did that and .... I got past the error check and they SAY I'm ready to file.   PROBLEM is, there is still a form 2210 checked and all, just no error.  I KNOW I paid 110% of my previous year's taxes and also I'm getting an $8K refund...SO... it shouldn't generate form 2210 at all, seems to me.  Anyway, I give up - I'll just mail the stupid thing in without adding Form 2210.  I really do hope they fix it the right way instead of just removing the error on the fact that Part II, Box A is checked so I can efile.   I worked in software before I retired and fixing the error this way is the stupid, lazy programmer's way to get their boss to just say - hey you fixed it!! good for you!! (But not for us)

How do I delete Form 2210?

Okay - I did what ianexpenses suggested  (2 comments above ) - walked through the steps under "Other Tax Situations" - "Underpayment Penalty", and don't get to a place where I can manually enter underpayment penalty.  What I get is "You don't owe an underpayment penalty.  However, Form 2210 Underpayment of Estimated Taxes must be filed with your tax return."  I totally meet the exception of paying at least 110% of the previous years' taxes, and IRS instructions for Line 23 basically say I don't need to file form 2210.  Since the way TT completes that form doesn't seem to match the fact that I don't owe an underpayment penalty, why does it say that I have to file it?

Thanks Frank!! That is the solution that I was looking for!!
