If you decline, you would not move forward. TurboTax cannot calculate your tax return without your permission.
There is no option to decline.
Do you see the option to skip or opt-out?
Hi. No, I only see the continue button. I do not see a skip or opt-out. Can you grab a screen shot of what the page is supposed to look like? Thx!
To remove your tax information from TurboTax use Clear & Start Over option. This will remove all your information in TurboTax. You can not remove your account but it will not contain any information. You may then abandon your account.
Follow these steps to use the Clear & Start Over option
With TurboTax open select tax tools in the left-hand panel.
Then select Clear & Start Over.
Select yes when asked are you sure you want to clear your return.
Thank you, but actually I'm asking something different.
Here is a screen shot. How do I decline? Do I click continue and then does the next page give me an option to decline?

Thank you. What confused me was the wording about personalized strategies and managing money beyond tax prep. It sounded like they were going to be sharing my info to create offers. I'd rather they just say, can we have your consent to see your tax info to do your taxes?
Exactly! I totally agree!!! I thought the same thing!
Yeah its bad enough they lost a 141 million dollar lawsuit intuit owes for AND is still advertising free tax software while trying to charge at checkout. Furthermore i am NOT
happy they are using mint, their fine print says you give them access to all bank account, records, transaction history etc to all connected accounts. I will
not be using turbotax ever again for this unlawful advertising they LOST a lawsuit in to the sum of One Hundred Forty One million dollars! With a second lawsuit against intuit likely pending!!!!
Now I may be wrong but how do you expect MINT to gather all your financial information from the banks, brokers, etc. if you don't give them permission and access to all those accounts ? If you don't want to do that then don't use the programs.
