How do I add the additional amount I paid for childcare that is not entered in box 10 on my W2?

To enter childcare expenses not included on your W-2 please follow the steps below:

• From the TurboTax home screen, locate and select Deductions and Credits
• Scroll down and click +Add Tax Breaks
• Locate the section You and your family, and select Dependent Care Credit. Click on Add (this will add it to your home screen list under deductions and credits).
• Go back to Deductions and Credits and select Dependent Care Credit to edit. Enter pertaining information related to the additional care costs.
