How do i add my state business return if I was advised to delete it in order to file my federal return.

turbotax would not allow me to file the federal return only. The expert advised me to delete the state return and then file it later

If you click on the state, the information from your federal return should repopulate to the federal side.  Then you can walk back through the state questions to complete the state return.
