There are lots of answers for TurboTax online. Not those. I'm using Premier on my local machine. Thanks.

For the Desktop program, You can delete a tax return from within the TurboTax program on the very first screen after starting the program or go to File-Open. Click on the large square icon representing the file you wish to delete (avoid clicking the blue "Continue" button). Then just hit your delete key and answer the prompt.
OR Start the program and on the first page click the blue Find A Tax File link at the bottom of the box. Then in the list that pops up you can right click on the file and choose delete.
Or just start a new return, go to FILE - NEW and ignore the wrong one.
For Windows:
By default, the TurboTax software saves your tax return files in the My Documents > TurboTax folder.
Simply navigate to My Documents > TurboTax and then delete the tax file by highlighting it and clicking the Delete key (or right-clicking it and choosing Delete).
Tip: The naming convention for tax files is Tax year – Last name – First initial – Type of return, e.g. 2015 Doe J 1040 Individual Tax Return.
Then, to permanently remove the file from your computer, open the Recycle Bin on your desktop, find the tax file, and delete it again.
