Ok .. in TT do NOT set up a payment plan again ... instead you must alter the one you already have after you have filed the 2018 return and it has been processed. You cannot do this before you file.
Now FYI ... when you are on a payment plan one of the rules is that you do not get behind in the future ... so if you do not pay the 2018 balance due in full by 4/15 your prior plan is technically in default and the prior unpaid balance is due in full now.

How to revise an online payment planLog in to the Online Payment Agreement tool using the Apply/Revise button below. On the first page, you can revise your current plan type, payment date, and amount. Then submit your changes.
If your new monthly payment amount does not meet the required payment amount, you will be prompted to revise the payment amount. If you are unable to make the minimum required payment amount, you will receive directions for completing a Form 433-F Collection Information Statement (PDF) and how to submit it.
If your plan has lapsed through default and is being reinstated, you may incur a reinstatement fee.
