How can I manually edit fields during the Review? I am using TT Online. The address fields in Sched B for a 1099-INT are completely garbled and I'm unable to correct them

During the Review of my return, TT is clarifying some inconsistencies with Payer's and Recipient's addresses. Sometimes the ZIP codes are missing, sometimes the city or the Street. In this instance, the system misinterpreted both addresses and intermixed them. For example, the address is 123 John Doe Street, and it puts 'John' in the street for the payer and 'Doe' in the street for the recipient. Unfortunately, the review prompts are not allowing me to correct this manually. They only let me enter data for 1 particular field.

And make sure you enter the data manually....an address is not required if you do that.

Do Not upload a Picture or a PDF file of the 1099-INT....that can misplace all kinds of stuff, and may likely be the reason for the garbled data.

You will need to edit and/or delete the Form 1099-INT entries and re-enter them if necessary. You can do that in the Wages and Income section, then Interest and Dividends, then Interest on 1099-INT. Edit the entry and correct the information that is in error. If that does not resolve the issue, go into that same section and delete the Form 1099-INT entry and re-enter it.
