How can I get my husbands 1099S from the SS Admin for 2019?(He is hospitalized!

I called them 2 times waited on the phone an hour each time! they told me that he must personally request the 1099 S that is not possible as he is fined in the in the hospital I tried to get it as I have all his info but it would not let me! Can any one help me?

SSA1099's were mailed out in late January/early February.

There is a way to go on the Social Security website and request one. Go to www.ssa.gov You have to create an account with a user name and password.
