How can I get Intuit/TurboTax to text me information during business hours, instead of a message at 3:40 AM- waking me up to tell me my State Return was accepted?

I really didn't need to be awakened last night- havind just suffered the death of a close friend's daughter just a few hours before!  Tax news can wait until normal business hours, please.

Very sorry about your friend.   The system that informs you about your tax return's acceptance or rejection is an automated system, and it sends you that information by email.

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected.  If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.

You can turn off the ringer and volume on your phone when you do not want to be disturbed by calls or messages.
