How can I fix GainsKeeper import error "Something unexpected happened and we couldn't get your form. Try again in a few hours. (5000)"?

Change your GainsKeeper Login ID to something at least six characters long.  In GainsKeeper, visit My Support => Change Password to change your Login ID.  After completing your import, you can change it back the same way.

This was fixed in time for preparing 2020 taxes in 2021, and it remains fixed.  Changing your GainsKeeper Login ID is no longer necessary.
