How can I amend my state return on Turbo Tax without completely changing my Federal??

When I attempt to amend my state tax returns, my Federal completely changes and shows I owe money.

My Federal was already adjusted by the IRS, it's done.

Hi @JP120, when the federal adjusted by the IRS and if you owed money to them it is normal for the amount to change in the software, if you are adding income or making adjustments.   You can still amend your state without re-sending your Federal. 

My advice is to continue through and file the state return only as long as your federal is matching the adjustments made by the IRS(adding penalties and interest).  If you continue to have issues and can access Turbo Tax live advice, I would  suggest doing this for further clarification.
