Hey guys don’t know if I filed something wrong on my taxes but it keeps asking me to put a residency start and end date and I’ve lived here since birth please help thanks

In the My Info section of the online tax return, edit your personal information and make sure you selected your resident state as of 12/31/2024 and make sure that you indicated that you did NOT live in any other states.

Hey! Thanks for responding so quickly to my question, I went back to the my info section and everything looks fine, I said I was a resident and put it as Ohio, but the boxes were already filled in that way when I checked back. Could there be anything else I’m missing?

Where in the TurboTax program are you being asked about residency?  Is this when you are completing the state tax return?  Or is this when you are in the Federal Review or Review sections of the program?  And what is the exact message you are receiving?
