Well hello, allow me to preface by saying if this is a silly question than I apologize but my son passed away where he was born alive for a couple of minutes in Nov of 2013 and I am inquiring to see if I can still list him as a dependent being that he's still my son?

He could have been listed as a dependent for 2013 since he was born alive, even though he died shortly after. He can't be a dependent for any year in which he was not alive.

unless you filed Form 4868 in 2014, you have missed the deadline to amend your return for a refund.
