This is the second year with the same problem and unfortunately I don't recall how we fixed it last year. I downloaded Turbo Tax 2022 and chose "Run as administrator" and it says "Extracting Files" and then nothing, no explanation, no error message, it just stops. I'm a user not a techie. I can't seem to find any help that works. I have several prior years Turbo Tax programs installed and they installed with no problem but 2021 was the first year where I had this same problem and now again in 2022, I may have to look for an alternative to Turbo Tax

YES. As much as they said they would support you with problems with install. BULL**bleep**. Answers after the install were useless. I DON'T BELIEVE IT IS A MICRO-SOFTS PROBLEM. I NEVER had a problem with the CD installs. If turbo tax believes that, then THEY SHOULD HAVE PUT THE FIX IN THE INTALL DOWNLOAD. THIS PRODUCT WAS A COMPLETE FAILURE ON THEIR PART. THIS WAS A RIP OFF. I MAY SWITCH MY TURBO-TAX PRODUCT AND CHANGE TO ANOTHER TAX PROGRAM. I WANT MY $MONEY BACK.
