Getting erroneous error message on my CA return for an amount of mort. interest adjustment that's GREATER than my total mortgage interest, but I'm entering ZERO!

When analyzing my CA return for errors, TT flags "Mis Itemized Deductions Statement: Pt I, Mortgage Int Adj total adjusted California interest and/or points cannot be greater than the total interest/points. Please modify your adjustment.

But, I'm not entering any adjustment, it gives me the error whether I enter zero or leave the field blank. Seems like a software bug. Should I go ahead and send the return with the error message? Or do I need to fix anything?
