Getting Conflict between what my Schedule K-1 shows vs what TurboTax is asking for.

Hi, I need assistance, I entered the information into the TurboTax program (Home & Business) that is on the Schedule K-1 as it was provided to me. But I can not file online because TurboTax states it the following "Box 16 Description has been entered for foreign branch category deductions related to foreign source income (code L), but no code E income has been entered.", my problem is that the K-1 provided to me does not have a code E listed under box 16, instead it has code B listed. How should this get approached? And how can I fix it? All help is welcomed.

You can insert $1.00 into 16E and that will clear the error.

Getting Conflict between what my Schedule K-1 shows vs what TurboTax is asking for.

Hi @rogge1722,

Thanks for the update, but to add more context to my issue/concern is that my k-1 only came populated with data for 16A, 16B, 16L, and 16Q. So that’s how I entered my info into TurboTax. And that’s where I get the error I stated in the main question. And in order to make the software happy it wants me to replace 16B with 16E, 16B currently has a value of 75. I have also tried adding a another line to 16 and making that 16E and the software still wants 16B to be replaced by 16E instead.

Did you assign $1.00 to 16E?  I've never heard of an error stating it wants one code replaced by another.
