@LarryD4 The software you purchased included the program to prepare state returns for that one state of your choosing. E-filing the state returns is an extra fee, which, unfortunately, many users do not understand. You can avoid the state e-file fee by printing and mailing the state returns instead of e-filing them. If you really want to e-file state returns it will cost you $25 each time. Do NOT choose to pay that $25 fee from your federal refund or you will also be charged a "refund processing fee" of an extra $39 in order to do so.
