Form 8965, I have a problem claiming exemption for a baby born last year. It is not allowing me to exempt him for the months after his birth. The form is not editable.

The step-by-step gives check marks for exemption months for everyone in my family, except for our baby that was born last year.  We are exempt because we participate in a Health Sharing Ministry.  This appears to be a flaw in the software.  What do I do?

I finally figured out where I could edit the values that end up in Form 8965.  At the bottom of the personal worksheets (looking at Forms) there is a section for health care exemptions on an individual basis.  In that form I could edit the individual and give the correct codes for the appropriate months.  Those codes are then carried over by the program into the 8965 form.
