Forgetting to file 8936 to IRS

I have already filed my taxes with the IRS this year, but I forgot to report the Tesla 7500. What should I do now?

Once your 2024 tax return has been processed (you have received the refund or the payment that you owed has been taken out) then you should file an amended tax return that adds in the vehicle and gets the credit.
