Foreign taxes paid or accrued Dt on form 1116 in the section Foreign Tax Credit Source - we encountered an issue processing your e-filed return

My return has been returned with the same reason with the dates entered properly, I did rework 1116 so that I have the higher amount in the first column as suggested in instructions for 1116 form.

@blaze2 , can you tell me a little bit more of the situation --- (a) what type of income from foreign sources; (b) which country; (c) who returned your return -- IRS or ??;  (d) is this the first year you are using form 1116 ( i.e. do you have carry over  credits  from earlier years  etc. ); (e)  any other info  that will help in understanding and reproducing the  situation that you are facing.
