Foreign tax credit

I received a dividend ( passive income) from my investment in the shares  of a company  (private) registered in the Netherlands. I received a 644 dividend letter indicating the amount paid (euros) and the tax withheld (15%). I do not see where to enter the income received ( there is no 1099) and the tax withheld. The Foreign income received questions only ask about earned income (wages) and not dividends. Please help identify where to enter this income and the credit for the tax paid.

Foreign tax credit

Enter the amount received as if you received Form 1099-DIV. Enter the amount in US dollar. Use the exchange rate when you receive the dividend and for the foreign tax paid, use the rate when you paid/accrued the tax.

In TurboTax when reporting the dividend income,  click on the box that says My form has info in more than just these boxes and you will see where you can enter the foreign taxes in box 7.

Where do I enter my 1099-DIV in TurboTax Online?

Where do I enter my 1099-DIV in the TurboTax CD/Download software?

After you enter the dividend income, go to the deductions and credits section to claim the foreign tax credit.

Where do I enter the foreign tax credit (Form 1116) or deduction?
