Foreign Income

How do I enter foreign income in Turbotax when the company said they would not provide a W-2 or pay the employer part of social security or medicare?  I was an employee of the foreign company in the foreign country for just two weeks in 2022.

Foreign Income

Yes, if you're a U.S. citizen or resident. You'll need to report all of your income, whether it was earned in the U.S. or abroad.  US citizens pay tax on worldwide income. If you meet the requirements, you can exclude up to $108,700 (2021 amount) in foreign earnings from your taxable income. You can also take a credit (or deduction) for foreign taxes paid on U.S. taxed income.

If you are not receiving a w-2 or 1099 you will need to track your income through other methods such as bank deposits, check stubs, etc.
